Welcome to the NORTH WOODS TREE FARM. The purpose of this tree farm is to provide its guests with a unique outdoor educational experience in a healthy forest. The natural forest of the farm consists of the classic mixed conifer stand of Ponderosa and Sugar pine, Douglas-fir, Incense cedar, and White fir. Within this forest we grow traditional and specialty Christmas Trees for our local customers in Shasta and Tehema Counties located in Northern California. It is located close to one of our national treasures, Lassen Volcanic National Park, within the Cascade-Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Come and experience a local tree farm that is managed in a responsible way! Take a short walk through the woods and talk about healthy forests with "Poppy" while you select your Christmas Tree. And visit "Granny" inside her newly completed (2008) 800 square foot gift shop she calls "Granny's End". Get warmed up while you sip hot chocolate and have some light snacks, courtesy of North Woods Tree Farm, and watch her make wreaths or make one yourself.
